My name is Jim Trani and I would like to welcome you to this site. I hope you'll stay awhile, look around, and check back often as our family ancestry tree is constantly growing. Having contemplated this project for many years, I have finally, and proudly, embraced the goal of finding and documenting the genealogy and ancestry of the Trani Family. I undertake this huge project with my co-admin and sister, Debbie Shaver. Our tree begins (since you need to start somewhere) with the current anchors of the Trani family, Patrick & Lynn Trani. But, it's doesn't and won't stop there. We plan on expanding our online genealogy with all persons from our past and all descendants to come. As we all grew up in New Jersey, most of our immediate family still resides somewhere in the Northeast "tri-state" area. Therefore, most of the research is currently concentrated along the eastern United States. However, each day there are new areas and families being uncovered. Locating all the information necessary for our ancestory and all the branches of the current tree can be difficult and time consuming, but with help from all of our relatives, we can slowly fill the void!
